At Distinctive Dentistry of Eugene, Oregon, patients with a cavity that need a filling can treat the issue quickly with composite resin restorations. Dental fillings are an effective method to treat a cavity, though there are other options to consider. During an appointment with Drs. Ty Jaros, Jacob Gubrud and Robert Gemmell, patients can ask about their options for restoring the tooth while learning more about which solution is best for their needs.
In most instances, if the decay hasn’t extended close to the nerve of the tooth, the best way to repair a tooth is with a dental filling. The best fillings are composite resin fillings; they are safe and look like natural tooth enamel. By placing these fillings, patients can rest easy that their dental work doesn’t LOOK like dental work; the material blends with the natural tooth structure for seamless integration and successful repair.
